Make your textiles as unique as a snowflake by learning a special snow dyeing technique and arashi shibori. On the first day of class, combine snow with fiber reactive Procion dyes on a 50”-inch square cotton bubble gauze scarf. As the snow melts slowly overnight, the dye will fix to the treated scarf. On the second day you’ll discover your textile colorfully transformed! This oversized square fabric is versatile and can be worn as a scarf or sarong, or for use as beautiful yardage. Students are also encouraged to bring 4-6 additional items to dye.
