You are invited to a Big Magic Workshop!
This workshop is taught by textile artist + surface design instructor Annabella Sardelis of INDIGO & SNOW, and co-hosted by Heather Heier and breath-work facilitator Sarah Haberman. We truly hope you can join us for this magical hands-on experience!
Details:
Sunday, August 20,
1 p.m. - 4 p.m.
In this workshop you will learn a surface design technique that will wow your friends and family when you share with them you dyed your gorgeous one-of-a-kind scarf! You will have an opportunity to bring 2-3 pieces from home to dye. They must be made with natural fibers (cotton, linen, silk etc). Examples include: a white a sundress, white overalls, pillow cases, napkins sets, up to 2 yards of fabric, white tshirts. Please feel free to bring in stained white/off white items and see this as an opportunity to over-dye them and make them more vibrant than ever. If you have any questions feel free to drop me a line. No experience necessary.
Your workshop registration includes:
an oversized bamboo scarf, 52” x 52”
non-toxic fiber reactive dyes
bring 2-3 pieces from home to dye
an instructional hand-out with care instructions
Our workshop will begin with breath-work facilitator Sarah Haberman. She will lead us with 10 minutes of breath work - which will get the magic started. Sarah was at the Edina Art Fair with Heather when this ignited - and together we will get creative and connected.
We hope you can join us for this magical experience!
