Students will begin by painting and printing their own designs on fabric using a non-toxic clay resist. The second week, students will learn how to make and maintain a natural indigo vat and dye the textiles they designed with clay resist the first week. Students will leave with samples of cloth with unique designs to be used in future projects. This is a great class for all levels of dyers, printmakers and designers.
